Mexican chili con carne is a spicy and satisfying dish that has a rich spicy taste and a bright aroma that you can’t resist trying. The dish is a thick meat goulash, for the preparation of which we need beef broth.

- Tomatoes 400 gr. (mashed)
- Canned beans 400 gr. (red)
- Zira 1 (teaspoons)

- Garlic 2 (parts)
- Tomato powder 30 (grams)
- Granulated sugar ¼ (teaspoons)
- Vegetable oil ½ (tablespoons)

Mexican chili con carne according to the classic recipe is very simple to prepare. We are preparing a food package.

Rinse the sweet pepper, remove the white membranes and seeds, and cut the pulp into cubes.

Cut the peeled onion, garlic cloves and chili pepper into as small pieces as possible.

We dilute the tomato powder to a paste consistency, open a can of beans, put the beans in a sieve and rinse under running water.

In a frying pan with high sides, heat the vegetable oil and sauté the onion.

When the onion has become transparent, add sweet and hot peppers, garlic, cumin, paprika and ground chili pepper - mix well and cook for 5 minutes.

Then increase the heat and add the minced meat to the vegetables, stirring frequently until the color of the beef changes.

At the moment when the meat component is almost ready, we supplement the composition with broth, pureed tomatoes and tomato paste, sugar, marjoram, salt and ground pepper. Stir, bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer covered for 20 minutes.

Now add the washed beans, stir and cook on low heat for another 10 minutes.

- Minced beef – 500 gr.
- Broth – 300 ml.
- Tomatoes in their own juice – 400 gr.
- Tomato puree – 2 tbsp.
- Canned beans – 400 ml.
- Ground chili pepper – 1 pinch.
- Ground sweet paprika – 1 pinch.
- Granulated sugar – 1 tsp.
- Dried marjoram – ½ tsp.
- Ground cumin – 1 tsp.
- Salt - to taste.
- Ground black pepper - to taste.
Cooking process:
Step 1. Cut the peeled onions, sweet pepper pulp and garlic cloves into small cubes.
Step 2. Heat a little sunflower oil in a frying pan and fry the chopped onion until transparent, add sweet pepper, garlic, ground chili, cumin and paprika - stir and fry for 5 minutes.
Step 3. In a separate frying pan, fry the minced meat until the moisture evaporates and is lightly golden, season with tomatoes in their own juice, broth, marjoram, tomato puree, granulated sugar, salt and ground pepper - mix well. We also lay out the roasted vegetables and bring the mixture to a boil, simmer under the lid for 20 minutes.
Step 4. After the time has passed, add the washed beans to the ingredients, heat the food for another 10 minutes without a lid, and then leave it covered for another 10 minutes.

- Beef – 750 gr.
- Onion – 2 pcs.
- Garlic – 6 teeth.
- Carrots – 2 pcs.
- Cilantro – 1 bunch.
- Tomatoes in their own juice – 800 gr.
- Canned red beans – 400 gr.
- Bitter chocolate – 50 gr.
- Oregano – 2 tbsp.
- Smoked ground paprika – 1.5 tsp.
- Zira – 1 tbsp.
- Ground cayenne pepper – ½ tsp.
- Chili petals – 1 tsp.
- Chili powder – 1 tsp.
- Sour cream/yogurt - to taste.
- Vegetable oil - for frying.
Cooking process:
Step 1. Peel the onions and carrots, rinse and cut into cubes. We also finely chop the cilantro stems (the leaves will be needed for decoration) and the cloves of garlic. Pour boiling water over the chili petals.
Step 2. We pass the beef, cleared of films and veins, through the grill of a meat grinder.
Step 3. Coat the frying pan with vegetable oil and heat it up, distribute the minced meat in an even layer and let it brown, and only then break it into small segments with a spatula. Cook for about 7-10 minutes and remove from the burner.
Step 4. In a large saucepan, saute the chopped vegetables until soft (5-7 minutes).
Step 5. After the time has passed, add minced beef, cilantro, cumin, chili petals, oregano and other spices to the assorted vegetables - mix.
Step 6. Add pureed tomatoes and canned beans along with the filling to the aromatic composition, bring to a boil.
Step 7. Turn the heat to minimum, close the lid and simmer the ingredients for 60 minutes.
Step 8. Grate a piece of dark chocolate directly into the pan on a fine grater.
Step 9. Mix.

Cooking process:
Step 1. Rinse the meat component and cut it as desired.
Step 2. Grind the beef through a meat grinder.
Step 3. Peel and chop the vegetables: quarter the onion into rings, and the carrot into cubes.
Step 4. Heat the sunflower oil and brown the homemade minced meat.

- Zira – 1 pinch.
- Greens - to taste.
- Salt - to taste.
- Granulated sugar - to taste.
- Vegetable oil – 1-2 tbsp.

Cooking process:
Step 1. Saute finely chopped onion in vegetable oil, add chopped chili and garlic, stirring, fry for a few seconds.
Step 2. Place any poultry segments in a fireproof dish and fry for a few more minutes.
Step 3. After a couple of minutes, add tomato cubes, a glass of water, cumin, salt, granulated sugar - let it boil and then turn down the heat and simmer for about 20 minutes.
Step 4. When the meat is ready, add corn and beans to the dish, mix and heat everything together for another 5 minutes.
