- Milk – 1 l.
- Flour – 90 gr.

- Fruits - to taste.
- Jelly for the cake - to taste.
Cooking process:
Step 1. First of all, prepare all the ingredients for the cake according to the recipe.
Step 2. Thaw the puff pastry in advance and at room temperature. Turn on the oven at 200°C. Divide the dough into longitudinal pieces and roll out a little with a rolling pin in one direction, but this is not necessary. Place the dough sheets one at a time, as the size of your oven allows, on a baking sheet lined with paper.
Step 3. Knead the dough for 15-25 minutes, no more, until lightly browned. Cool the baked dough sheets.
Step 4. For the custard, place the yolks in a separate bowl, add regular sugar and vanilla and beat them with a whisk until white. Then add flour, pour a glass of milk and mix well.
Step 5.Pour the rest of the milk into a thick-bottomed saucepan and heat well over medium heat.
Step 6. When the milk begins to boil in a thin stream and with constant stirring with a whisk, pour the yolk mixture into it. Cook the cream, also while stirring, for 10 minutes until a thick texture is obtained.
Step 7. Cool the cooked cream for 10-15 minutes, add the butter cut into pieces and mix well until it is completely dissolved.
Step 8. To assemble the Napoleon, divide the baked dough sheets in half if the dough was not rolled out before baking.
