How to cook classic Georgian cabbage with beets? Before starting the process, put all the necessary products on the table.

We remove the spoiled leaves from the head of cabbage and cut them into arbitrary medium-sized segments. At the same time, bring water and salt to a boil and cool the marinade completely.

- Granulated sugar – ½ tbsp.
- Salt – 1.5 tbsp.
- Laurel leaf – 4 pcs.
Cooking process:
Step 1. Cut the head of cabbage into cubes with sides no larger than four centimeters and pour into a bowl with high sides.
Step 2. Using a borage grater, chop the peeled garlic, carrots and beets. Mix the resulting shavings.
Step 3.Place a layer of cabbage in the pan and top it with a bright mixture of carrots and beets, fill all the dishes and, without wasting time, cook the marinade. Pour water into a saucepan and add bay leaf, butter, salt and granulated sugar - simmer for about two minutes from the moment it boils, pour in vinegar and turn off the heat.
Step 4. Pour the hot solution over the vegetables, cover with a plate and place a jar of water on top so that the components do not float to the surface.
