I baked “Lush and airy gingerbread with sour cream.” While I was making the dough, I thought that the finished product would be inedible, would not rise and would not be baked. I also (as always) added a pinch of salt to the dough. I put it in the oven and after a while, lo and behold! the dough began to rise!
Result: the gingerbread was baked perfectly and was not dense! Very, very tasty! I baked it in the form of a Teflon “miracle”, because... I thought it would bake better. I only lined the central hole and the side with paper, and only greased the bottom with butter. The finished baked goods fell out easily. Maybe you can bake without paper at all? After all, such a fatty dough.
