Then this recipe comes to the rescue.

- Mackerel heads – 2 pcs.
- Water – 1.5 l.
- Potatoes – 2 pcs.
- Short grain rice – 30 gr.
- Onions – 1 pc.
- Carrots – 0.5 pcs.
- Bay leaf – 1 pc.
- Allspice peas – 2 pcs.
- Black peppercorns – 3 pcs.
- Khmeli-suneli – 0.5 tsp.
- Salt - to taste.
- Parsley - for decoration.
- Vegetable oil – 2 tbsp.
Cooking process:
Step 1. Place the mackerel heads in a cooking pot, add 1.5 liters of water. Place on the stove and boil.Skim off the foam with a slotted spoon and cook for 15 minutes.
Step 2. After 15 minutes, remove the heads and pour the broth through a strainer.
Step 3. Wash the root vegetables with a brush under running water and peel them using a knife or housekeeper. Chop the potatoes fairly large and add them to the broth.
Step 4. Rinse the short grain rice until the water is clear and pour into the aromatic broth.
Step 5. Add salt, peppercorns and bay leaves.
Step 6. Season the suneli hops and continue cooking for at least 20 minutes.
Step 7. Cut the carrots into squares. Remove the skin from the onion and finely chop. The cutting method is not important. Do as you are used to.
Step 8. Sauté the onions and carrots in a hot frying pan with oil.
Step 9. Rinse the parsley with water and chop with a knife. Pour into the soup along with the roast. Return the fish heads to the pan. Boil, turn off the stove and leave to brew. The heads give the broth a rich flavor.
Step 10. Pour the rich and fragrant fish soup into plates and eat with pleasure! Give your heads to the cats. It turns out to be a profitable soup for yourself and your pets.
