- Cod – 1 carcass (or fillet – 600–700 g).
- Onion and egg - 2 pcs.
- White bread - 2-3 slices.
- Dry basil – 1 tsp.
- Chopped ginger – 1/2 tbsp. l.
- Salt and pepper to taste.
Cooking process:
Step 1. Thaw the cod carcass and fillet it, removing the backbone, bones and skin. Cut the fish into medium pieces.
Step 2. Peel the onions and cut them into 4 pieces each.
Step 3. Grind the cod together with the onion in a blender bowl or in a meat grinder. Onions will give cod cutlets a special flavor.
Step 4. Place the minced fish in a deep bowl.
